Social Media Success Web Conference

Last year, I signed up for a Social Media training conference which was hosted online and I wasn't sure about it because the website design looked a little too hokey for me. I decided to take the risk and paid out the $600 to sign up. End result was that I learned A LOT about various content ideas, social media management, tools, etc. that I sing it's praises whenever possible. This year they are running a promotion for 50% off through April 14th so the cost is $297.

Getting your name for all Social Media

Do you have the same name on all you social media outlets? This can be easier if you are using your own name and it is not to common a name. Sometimes it is harder if you are using your company name. You would like for everything to be the same across Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIN? Are you are trying to maintain brand consistency, but it is hard to know who has taken what user names already? Check out a site called www.namechk.com. It allows you to search for an username across all social media sites. It tells you which sites the name is available for and which sites the name has been taken.
