 Pro Series Webinars

Hello Loren, I hope that this July edition of the onOne Software eNews finds you well and enjoying the summer. Personally, I can't believe it's already the middle of July. Where does the time go?
While we hope that you are enjoying the summer and perhaps taking some time off to spend time with your family or are out taking pictures somewhere fun and exciting, we've been very busy here in our Portland, Oregon office. In addition to getting ready to move to a new office across the street (more on that next month), we have been working on ways to help you get more out of the onOne products you're using today.
For starters, we have been collaborating with some of our partner photographers to bring you some excitingwebinars that give you a glimpse into how they are using onOne products to achieve the signature look of their work. Most recently, we had a very popular webinar with wildlife photographer Laurie Excell. Laurie showed her amazing wildlife and landscape photography and then demonstrated how she is using FocalPoint,PhotoFramePhotoTools and Genuine Fractals in her photo editing workflow.
The webinar was our most popular one so far and you can watch a recorded version of it in the onOne University. In fact, Laurie's presentation was so popular that Laurie has agreed to come back and do a live encore presentation on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at 11:00 am Pacific Standard Time. There are 1,000 spaces available but since the last one filled up in less than 2 days, I suggest you register early if you would like to watch this presentation. For more details and links to register, visit our webinar registration page.
For August, mark you calendars now for August 11 and August 17 when we'll have Lifestyle Photographer Kersti Malvre back for two webinars where she will be working on images from a recent fun and lively photo shoot with a wonderful little girl. She will demonstrate from start to finish how she creates a beautiful Lifestyle book that clients absolutely love. Kersti will be creating the finished images and layouts using PhotoTools, PhotoTune and PhotoFrame. To make it even easier, register today and we will email you a reminder.
onOne Series Webinars
In addition to having photographers like Laurie Excell, Kersti Malvre and Vincent Versace visit our offices and record these webinars, our very own resident photographer and senior product manager Dan Harlacher is hard at work providing training for you as well. Dan has over a decade of experience as a professional photographer and Photoshop instructor and as a member of the onOne Software team, he is constantly producing educational materials for you at no charge.
Most recently, Dan presented some techniques on Portrait Retouching using PhotoTools 2.5 Professional. If you missed the live online presentation, you can watch it at no charge here. If you're more into Landscape photography rather than portraiture, be sure to check out Dan's latest Landscape webinar instead.
This eNews is very heavy on webinars this month and I just thought "what if somebody isn't sure what a webinar is?" Well, in case you are wondering, a webinar is just like a seminar except it takes place on, you guessed it, the web. From the comfort of your own home - or anywhere you have decent internet access - you can sign up and log in to watch one of our webinars. All of the webinars are available to you at no charge and you can see a full list of upcoming webinars on our web site.
And if you have any suggestions for topics that you'd like us to cover in a future webinar, please let me know!
New PhotoFrame Content
For all of you with either PhotoFrame 4.5 Professional or the Plug-In Suite 5 (which includes PhotoFrame 4.5 Professional) we have some new frames that are available to download from our onOne Exchange. Just visit the Exchange site and you can browse the new frames that are available to download at no charge.
Dan Harlacher has produced a couple of videos showing you how to install, locate and use any of the frames or presets that you download from the onOne Exchange. The first video is forinstalling PhotoFrame content and the second video is on installing PhotoTools presets.
Be sure to watch each of these videos if you're downloading frames or presets from the onOne Exchange.
