Mix-FX

I wasn't exactly sure what Mix-FX was supposed to provide when I downloaded it. I found that it is a tool to create simple Flash animation graphics for websites or Powerpoint presentations.

I found it very easy to get the program to perform it's stated functions. No need to refer to the dreaded instructions. The program worked as stated and provided Flash animated text and also Flash animated buttons to use for websites.

The ease of use was also the downfall of the program in my opinion. It provided about 20 different text effects in 11 different fonts with a about 256 colors to choose from. It also provided about 25 different background effects in 256 colors.

You can vary the size of the background to create Flash buttons with the same effects as above.

While I found the program easy to use and it performed as advertised I was not very impressed with the overall Flash animations that it would create. Probably much of the reason is due to the style of web pages I design. Flashy graphics in ugly colors just don't appeal to me and I will probably never use any of the graphics created with this program on any of my web pages.

Your taste may vary from mine and if you do like a lot of flash and pizazz on your web pages this may just be the program you are looking for.

It is easy to use and it shouldn't take more that a few minutes to whip out a flashy graphic for your next project.
