I thought that this book was an excellent resource. A lot of the processes that it describes seem like common sense, but it is a different story to actually implement this.

Having fallen into roles that require project management without any formal training, I found the information in this book very useful. It gives direction and helps you to establish the fundamentals of working through a project from start to finish.

Personally, I found the section about planning your time and determining how to estimate your resources very interesting. This is a part of the process that I have struggled with in the past.

I think all in all, the book helped to fill in some blanks of our work-flow to make our processes a bit smoother. It is easy to read and I like the fact that it has a quick reference section in the back of the book so you can utilize the techniques in your daily practice.
