The overall goal of The Social Media Bible is to "show you how to build or transform your business into a social media enabled enterprise." For the most part, I would say that the book meets its objective. It begins with a basic definition of social media and immediately dives into the related technologies. The technologies discussed include the expected topic of social networking (Facebook, MySpace and LinkedIn) along with blogging, email, websites, forums, wikis and microblogging (Twitter).
